Alison’s Specialties
What sessions with Alison are like
Nutrition counseling with Alison is collaborative, conversational, and grounded in your real life. Rather than handing you a rigid meal plan or a list of rules, Alison works with you to understand what feels hard, what support you need, and what changes feel realistic. Sessions may include:
Exploring your relationship with food
We may talk through food rules, guilt, anxiety, restriction, binge urges, body checking, or fears around eating
Building flexible structure
Together, we can create supportive routines around meals and snacks without turning eating into another set of rules.
Supporting executive functioning
For ADHD clients, sessions may include low-barrier meal ideas, grocery strategies, sensory-friendly options, and ways to reduce decision fatigue.
Connecting nutrition to whole-person care
When relevant, Alison can help coordinate care around eating disorders, PCOS, labs, medications, movement, digestion, or other medical concerns.
Who I work with
Alison may be a good fit for clients who are looking for support with:
eating disorder recovery or disordered eating
intuitive eating and rebuilding body trust
ADHD-related eating challenges
PCOS nutrition from a weight-inclusive lens
body image concerns
meal consistency, low appetite, or executive functioning barriers
nutrition support that is LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodiversity-affirming
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sessions are collaborative, flexible, and paced to meet you where you are.
