Inclusive Nutrition Counseling with a non-diet approach.

Our Nutrition Services

Our registered dietitian nutritionists offer care through a non-diet, weight-inclusive lens. That means we do not believe shame, restriction, or fear-based nutrition advice creates sustainable wellbeing. Instead, we help you better understand your body, your health needs, your relationship with food, and the practical steps that can support you. Our work often weaves together four areas of care:

Medical Nutrition Therapy

Evidence-based nutrition support for health conditions such as diabetes, digestive disorders, eating disorders, and more. We can review lab work with you, explain what it means in plain language, and connect it back to the bigger picture of your health and wellbeing.

Education & Resources

Nutrition information can feel confusing, especially when so much of it is shaped by diet culture, wellness trends, and fear-based messaging. We offer practical education, handouts, tools, and research-backed guidance to help you better understand food, your body, and your health needs.

Care Coordination

Nutrition rarely exists in isolation. With your permission, we can collaborate with your broader care team, including physicians, therapists, psychiatrists, specialists, school providers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals.

Personalized Support

Every session is tailored to you. Nutrition counseling may include building realistic eating routines, troubleshooting barriers, supporting meal planning, discussing body image, exploring symptoms, practicing intuitive eating, or creating gentle strategies that fit your life.

Our Non-Diet Approach

We believe that wellness is a personal journey and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The ability to make sustainable changes comes from a place of compassion for our bodies as well as our choices. Practicing mindful and intuitive eating provides us with a baseline for improving our relationship with food and body while maintaining nourishment. As weight inclusive dietitian nutritionists, our individualized, evidence-based approach helps clients make meaningful and realistic behavioral changes on their well-being journey. We pride ourselves on providing medical nutrition therapy in an environment that makes our clients feel comfortable and supported through their entire journey.

  • Intuitive eating is a non-diet approach to nutrition and wellness that focuses on mindfulness, listening to the body, and creating a healthy relationship with food. Unlike traditional "diets" and "weight loss plans", the focus of intuitive eating is NOT on the scale or calorie intake. Success is instead measured by increased energy, improved mood, and becoming more in tune with the body.

  • Not typically. CV Wellbeing does not create meal plans unless circumstances require such structure. Rather than rigid plans, we emphasize balance, variety, and satisfaction to foster sustainable eating habits.

Wherever you are in your journey, we’ll meet you there.
