Meet Janet Steady, MS, RDN, LD
Weight-inclusive registered dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and yoga teacher offering nutrition counseling for intuitive eating, eating disorder recovery, sports nutrition, digestive health, and metabolic support.
Hi, I’m Janet Steady, MS, RDN, LD, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and yoga teacher aligned with the Health at Every Size® paradigm. My work centers on helping clients reconnect with their bodies, move away from diet mentality, and build self-care practices rooted in compassion, flexibility, and lived experience.
In our work together, we may explore your relationship with food, body image, movement, health concerns, values, and the parts of you that have been trying to keep you safe. Rather than focusing on weight or rigid food rules, I support clients in developing sustainable behaviors that help them eat well, move with joy, and live in greater alignment with their core values.
My counseling style is informed by Intuitive Eating, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, yoga philosophy, and the wisdom you bring from your own life. I support clients navigating eating disorder recovery, body image concerns, sports nutrition, digestive health, cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes care, and corporate wellness.
Can you imagine a world in which we connected rather than compared? If you feel pulled away from your center, your body, or your authentic self, nutrition counseling can be one place to begin reconnecting.

What sessions with Janet are like
Nutrition counseling with Janet is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in self-connection. Sessions may include practical nutrition support, but they also make room for the emotional, relational, and embodied parts of healing your relationship with food and body.
Rather than telling you what to eat or how your body should look, Janet helps you listen inward, notice patterns with compassion, and create self-care practices that align with your values.
Sessions may include:
Exploring food and body stories
Together, you may look at diet history, food guilt, body comparison, shame, internalized rules, and the parts of you that learned food or body control as a way to cope.
Creating values-based self-care
Using an Intuitive Eating and ACT-informed lens, sessions may focus on building behaviors that support your health, relationships, movement, and quality of life without chasing weight loss.
Rebuilding trust with your body
Janet can help you reconnect with hunger, fullness, satisfaction, energy, and the cues your body has been communicating.
Supporting health concerns without rigidity
Janet can help you navigate digestion, cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, sports nutrition, or other nutrition needs in a way that protects your relationship with food.
