Meet Jane Pfeufer
MS, RD, LDN

HAES-aligned dietitian supporting athletes, movement, and a more balanced relationship with food

Hi, I'm Jane (she/her), a HAES-aligned, intuitive-eating-focused dietitian. Food plays an important role not only for our health, but also for community and culture. Using a non-diet approach, we will work together to energize your relationship with food and movement. I have a strong understanding of the complications that come with athletics such as Low Energy Availability and RED-S, and I'm passionate about working with athletes of all levels. Through my experience as a health coach, I have cultivated intrinsic motivation in my clients to make sustainable lifestyle changes. My counseling experience can support your health, performance, and enjoyment of life.

Jane’s Specialties

What sessions with Jane are like

Nutrition counseling with Jane is collaborative, practical, and centered around your real life. Whether you are training for a sport, trying to fuel more consistently, recovering from under-fueling, or wanting a less stressful relationship with food and movement, Jane will meet you where you are. Sessions may include:

Understanding your fueling needs

Jane can help you explore meal timing, snacks, hydration, recovery nutrition, and how to support your body before, during, and after activity.

Supporting athlete health and performance

For athletes, sessions may focus on energy availability, training demands, recovery, injury prevention, RED-S, menstrual health, and sustainable fueling patterns.

Rebuilding your relationship with movement

Together, you can explore how movement feels in your body, how to reduce guilt or rigidity around exercise, and how to reconnect with movement in a more supportive way.

Creating sustainable routines

Jane helps clients build realistic habits around food, fueling, and self-care without relying on strict rules, dieting, or perfection.
